A guardian made to travel with you.

Inspired by the powerful Yaksha figures found throughout Thai art and temple architecture, this paracord bead turns the image of the ancient guardian into a small piece of wearable metal sculpture.

The elaborate crown, curved tusks, intense expression and layered armor are deeply sculpted to give the bead a strong silhouette from every angle. It works naturally on a knife lanyard, keychain, backpack or custom EDC setup — but it was designed to feel like more than just an accessory.

It is a miniature guardian sculpture you can carry every day.

AGED METAL, NOT A PERFECT SHINE

Each Yaksha bead is individually aged and finished by hand.

Instead of a bright mirror polish, the surface keeps a more subdued, time-worn character. Raised edges catch soft metallic highlights, while the deeper recesses remain dark, bringing out the expression, ornament and three-dimensional structure of the sculpture.

Small variations in patina and polished areas are part of the hand-finishing process, so no two pieces will look completely identical.

THE STORY BEHIND THE DESIGN

In Thai tradition, Yaksha figures are often represented as powerful guardians of temples and sacred places.

For this design, I wanted to preserve that sense of strength and vigilance without turning it into a simple decorative symbol.

The crown, tusks, facial expression and armor were sculpted as one compact form, giving the piece the presence of an old guardian statue reduced to the scale of an EDC bead.

Each piece begins as an original sculpture and is developed using traditional jewelry-making techniques including casting, oxidation, aging and hand polishing.
