THE LION is a compact lion head paracord bead designed around the natural character of the animal itself — without a crown, armor or unnecessary decoration.

The strong muzzle, deep-set eyes and layered flowing mane create a solid, sculptural silhouette from every angle. Rather than portraying the lion in an aggressive roar, this design captures a calmer presence: controlled, confident and powerful.

Made for knife lanyards, EDC setups and collectors who appreciate small-scale metal sculpture.

The Design

The lion has long represented strength, courage and authority.

For this design, I wanted to remove the symbols normally associated with those ideas — no crown, no armor and no exaggerated aggression.

Instead, the character comes entirely from the lion itself.

A broad muzzle gives the face weight and structure. Deep-set eyes create a focused expression, while the layered mane wraps naturally around the head and gives the bead its strong three-dimensional silhouette.

The expression is intentionally calm rather than aggressive.

For me, real strength does not always need to roar.

The result is a compact metal sculpture that feels solid, balanced and timeless in the hand.

Hand-Finished Aged Metal

Each Lion bead is individually aged, oxidized and finished by hand.

Dark patina remains within the deeper areas of the mane, eyes and facial structure, while selected raised surfaces are gently polished.

This contrast brings out the sculptural details without creating an overly bright or highly reflective finish.

Slight variations in patina, polished areas and darker recessed details are a natural result of the hand-finishing process and make every piece slightly unique.
