Quiet authority, sculpted in metal.

LION KING combines the natural strength of the lion with a contrasting brass crown, creating a compact two-metal sculpture designed for EDC and knife lanyard setups.

The lion head is sculpted in white brass, while the crown is made from warm brass. The contrast between the two metals gives the piece its distinctive identity without relying on paint, coatings or artificial coloring.

A strong muzzle, deep-set eyes and layered mane create a powerful silhouette, while the calm expression keeps the design controlled rather than overly aggressive.

The Design

The lion has represented strength, courage and authority across cultures for centuries.

For LION KING, I wanted to explore those ideas without turning the piece into an exaggerated symbol of aggression.

The lion has a calm, controlled expression.

A broad muzzle gives the face weight, while deep-set eyes and a layered mane create a strong three-dimensional structure. The crown adds another level of character, but it is designed to remain part of the sculpture rather than feeling like a separate ornament.

The crown is welded directly into the bead and becomes part of its functional structure.

Paracord passes naturally through the top of the crown, allowing the crown itself to contribute to the silhouette and construction of the piece.

The result feels less like a decorative charm and more like a miniature metal emblem of strength and authority.

Two-Metal Construction

One of the defining features of LION KING is the natural contrast between the two metals.

The cooler tone of the white brass lion head creates a strong visual separation from the warmer brass crown.

No paint is needed to create this contrast.

Instead, the color comes directly from the materials themselves, allowing both metals to age naturally and develop more character over time.

Hand-Finished Aged Metal

Every LION KING bead is individually aged, oxidized and finished by hand.

Dark patina remains inside the deeper areas of the mane, facial structure and crown, while selected raised surfaces are gently polished.

The finish is intentionally restrained rather than highly reflective.

This combination of darker recesses and subtle metallic highlights reveals the sculptural form without making the bead look excessively polished.

Slight differences in patina, polished areas and darker recessed details are a natural part of the hand-finishing process.

Each piece will have its own subtle character.
